2007 Cooperative Delivery Program
The Midwest Organic Farmers Cooperative is farmer-owned, 86 members strong and growing. Their mission is to help producers get the best prices available for the certified organic grains, soybeans and forages they grow.

In 2007, MOFC is developing a Cooperative Delivery Project (CDP) designed to help small farmers efficiently and cost effectively transport and deliver their products. The initial phase will focus on the Chicago area and the surrounding suburbs.

Demand for local organic products outweighs the supply in many urban areas. Implementation of the CDP will allow farmers to deliver their products to a close and convenient location to be shipped to restaurant accounts and Farmers Markets in the Chicago area.
